White Shades Of War
White Shades Of War
“White Shades Of War” symbolizes the honesty, conviction and transparency with which an operator performs his work inside operational environments. White represents direct visibility where damage immediately becomes noticeable, where lies stand out instantly and where fabricated stories rarely survive once situations escalate beyond control. The painting reflects the reality that pressure and consequence expose people quickly once operational life removes comfort, distance and illusion.
At the same time the white tones represent clarity of intent inside environments filled with confusion, manipulation and conflicting interests. In conflict zones trust is rarely built through words alone. Actions, discipline and consistency become the only things people eventually believe. Operational environments have little patience for ego, performance or political correctness once survival, responsibility and consequence begin carrying real weight.
The painting reflects the mentality of people who continue functioning under pressure without hiding behind excuses or narratives. Eventually everything becomes visible. Character, discipline, fear, loyalty and weakness all surface once the shit hits the fan.
Created on canvas using acrylic paint applied with a tactical glove, a combat knife, parts of operational clothing and layered textures made with military field materials connected to active deployments. I use real operational materials to leave something of myself behind in the canvas to give the art a soul.
Dimensions 40 X 30 cm on canvas
