Kiss Of Death
Kiss Of Death
“Kiss Of Death” reflects the invisible dangers surrounding operational environments where the greatest threats are often the ones never seen until impact. The title refers to the fatal precision of a sniper round, but the painting extends far beyond physical violence alone.
The hidden rifle symbolizes everything operating beneath the surface, concealed threats, unseen intentions, buried explosives, shifting loyalties and the quiet details inside agreements or contracts that reveal their true cost only after the mission is completed.
In operational environments, survival often depends less on visible danger and more on recognizing what remains hidden just outside direct awareness. One overlooked detail, one delayed reaction or one false assumption can determine whether everything holds together or collapses completely.
The painting explores the constant tension between perception and reality, the understanding that the most dangerous moments are often the ones arriving silently.
Created on canvas using acrylic paint applied with a used 7.62 NATO and a .338 Lapua cartridge, and some of the paint is dabbed with a tactical balaclava mask and the original contracts connected to specific tasks in Pakistan. I use real operational materials to leave something of myself behind in the canvas to give the art a soul.
Dimensions 50 X 40 cm on canvas
