Exchanging Souls is an autobiographical novel about a promise, memory, and the long aftermath of choices made in another world.

A man leaves for a conflict zone, not out of heroism, but out of conviction. A woman remains at home. Letters and messages become their connection, until the messages grow shorter and, eventually, only silence remains.

Years later, a flashback sets the past in motion again and puts him back on the trail of what really happened. A name, a date and old archives provide the first leads. What begins as a memory becomes a restrained search for loyalty, responsibility, love, loss and a promise that never fully disappears.
